There are Liberal Democrat MPs for the constituencies of Eastleigh, Portsmouth South, Winchester & Romsey, two Liberal Democrat MEPs for the area and 28 Lib Dems on the County Council. The Liberal Democrats run Eastleigh Borough Council. Lib Dem Councillors lead minority administrations in the unitary authorities in Southampton and Portsmouth and on Hart District Council.
Hampshire Conservative's pre-election con-trick

Hampshire Conservatives over-charged council tax payers this year so they could bribe the voters with a lower increase next year - County election year. They denied it at the time, but now the truth is out. They have also announced some modest improvements to services to try to distract people from the major service cuts they are making.
