Environment at centre of Lib Dem plans

Environment spokesman Chris Huhne will call for action on climate change.

Liberal Democrats from across the country are gathering in Brighton this week for their annual conference. The party is making the environment the centrepiece of the event. The Lib Dems will highlight the radical action that is a feature of their plans - in contrast to Conservative spin.

Hampshire MP Chris Huhne is the Lib Dems national environment spokesman and he will lead the debate on policies which will put tackling climate change at the heart of Lib Dem plans.
